Sensei Malcolm Lewis
Sensei Malcolm Lewis executing
a Kakato-Geri.

Martial arts history: Started Wado-Ryu in 1975. 1st Dan 1980, 2nd Dan 1982, 3rd Dan 2000. I stopped training 1988 to 1997 due to career restrictions.
Competitions: Competed in 50th Anniversary of founding of Wado-Ryu, UK Team.
Occupation: Sheet Metal Worker
Why study Wado-Ryu: I practise Wado-Ryu because it gives me all that I want out of karate. It is constantly evolving, and does not stand still, like some other forms of martial arts. I don't study any other styles because of the principle of Shingi O Omanji - A Student Must Have Loyalty To His Sensei, and, therefore, his style.
Most important benefit from WKA: Excellent tuition from one of the most highly qualified instructors in the country today. Also mental and physical discipline.
