Searching Tips

The text search engine allows queries to be formed from arbitrary Boolean expressions containing the keywords AND, OR, and NOT, and grouped with parentheses. For example:

wado-ryu karate finds pages containing 'wado-ryu' or 'karate'

wado-ryu or karate same as above

 

wado-ryu and karate finds pages containing both 'wado-ryu' and 'karate'

 

wado-ryu not karate finds pages containing 'wado-ryu' but not 'karate'

 

(wado-ryu not karate) and punch finds pages containing 'punch', plus 'wado-ryu' but not 'karate'

 

wado* finds pages containing words starting with 'wado'
